Submitting Creative Materials
Materials Due Date: Creative is due 2 weeks prior to launch.
When submitting creative, please send the following items:
- Company name to be used in podcast
- Company Logo
- Colored and white version with transparent backgrounds, high resolution preferred (.eps, .psd, or .png)
- Audio clip OR script to be read by editor (30 seconds max)
- Audio Clip: The script is recorded and mixed prior to the podcast and inserted
- File format: MP3 (MP4 formats will be downconverted to MP3)
- Read: The podcast host reads a provided script cold (no background music or additional production) during podcast
- Audio Clip: The script is recorded and mixed prior to the podcast and inserted
- Redirect URL
- To be linked in show notes
- Intended target audience
- Optional: Web ad creatives and redirect URL to run on podcast article page (specs below).
BEST PRACTICES
Match the Topic and Audience:
- Ensure the ad is highly relevant and tailored to the show’s listeners.
- Leverage the context of the podcast, tie the ad message into the key theme of the episode.
Length Considerations:
- Keep text short, clear, and concise to effectively convey your message, to capitalize on podcast listeners attention span.
- Ideal length is 15-30 second.
Headlines Copy:
- Ensure clarity and encourage higher engagement.
- Note that anything over 100 characters could be shortened on desktop.
